- 4 cups watermelon, cubed and seedless
- 1 cup white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc)
- 1/2 cup sparkling water or club soda
- 1/4 cup orange liqueur (like Triple Sec or Cointreau)
- Juice of 1 lime
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
- Lime slices for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, blend the watermelon cubes until smooth.
- Strain the watermelon puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp.
- Add the white wine, sparkling water, orange liqueur, and lime juice to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine.
- Taste and adjust the sweetness or acidity if desired by adding more lime juice or a splash of sweetener.
- Chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Serve over ice in glasses, garnished with fresh mint leaves and lime slices.
Notes
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit the wine and liqueur and use extra sparkling water.
- Feel free to add other fruits like strawberries, peaches, or citrus slices for added flavor.
