- 4 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 pound pound cake, cut into cubes
- 2 cups vanilla pudding (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 cups whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large trifle bowl or a glass serving dish, layer half of the pound cake cubes on the bottom.
- Add half of the vanilla pudding over the pound cake cubes, spreading it evenly.
- Layer half of the mixed berries on top of the pudding.
- Add half of the whipped cream on top of the berries, spreading it out to cover.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, pudding, berries, and whipped cream.
- Finish by garnishing with fresh mint leaves on top.
- Refrigerate the trifle for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- You can substitute any combination of berries based on your preference or what is in season.
- For a lighter version, use low-fat pudding and whipped cream.
