  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced strawberries, chopped rhubarb, and granulated sugar. Mix well and let sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, spread the strawberry-rhubarb mixture evenly across the bottom.
  4. Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruit mixture, covering it completely.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix. You can also sprinkle cinnamon on top if desired.
  6. Pour the water evenly over the entire cake mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbly.
