Description

A delicious and hearty salad featuring tender steak, fresh arugula, and parmesan cheese, tossed with pasta for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta (your choice)
  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups fresh arugula
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season the flank steak with olive oil, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  4. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, arugula, cherry tomatoes, and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Add the sliced steak on top of the salad mixture.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette and toss gently to combine.
  8. Top with fresh basil if using, and serve immediately.
