Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef brisket, cooked and shredded
  • 1 cup smoky BBQ sauce
  • 4 pieces flatbread
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Olive oil, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded beef brisket with the smoky BBQ sauce until well combined.
  3. Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the flatbreads lightly with olive oil.
  5. Spread the BBQ brisket mixture evenly over each flatbread.
  6. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the brisket.
  7. Add the sliced red onion and bell peppers evenly over the cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes.
  10. Garnish with fresh cilantro before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the toppings to your liking, adding jalapeños for spice or avocado for creaminess.
  • For an extra smoky flavor, consider using smoked brisket or adding smoked paprika to the BBQ sauce.
