Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • to taste Salt
  • 8 Corn tortillas (warmed)
  • 2 cups Cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 Avocado (sliced)
  • 1 Lime (cut into wedges)
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream (for crema)
  • 2 tbsp Lime juice (for crema)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine shrimp, olive oil, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, and salt. Mix well and let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and cooked through.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix sour cream and lime juice to make the lime crema.
  4. Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet or microwave.
  5. Assemble the tacos by placing shrimp on the tortillas, then top with shredded cabbage, sliced avocado, chopped cilantro, and a drizzle of lime crema.
  6. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize the toppings with salsa, jalapeños, or cheese.
  • For added flavor, marinate the shrimp for longer before cooking.
