- 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon, sliced
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and coat them well. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator for more flavor.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
- Place the marinated chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side up. Arrange lemon slices on top of the chicken.
- Cook the chicken for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
