Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs, bone-in and skin-on
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade and coat them well. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator for more flavor.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  4. Place the marinated chicken thighs in the air fryer basket, skin side up. Arrange lemon slices on top of the chicken.
  5. Cook the chicken for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
