- 2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved completely.
- Once the sugar syrup is ready, remove it from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
- In a blender, combine the raspberries, cooled sugar syrup, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds, if desired.
- Pour the raspberry mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 4-6 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to break up any ice crystals.
- Once fully frozen and fluffy, scoop the raspberry sorbet into bowls and serve immediately.
