Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup cranberry juice or raspberry juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Add the cold water and cranberry juice (or raspberry juice) to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
  3. Taste the lemonade and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or water if desired.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill.
  5. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint if desired.

Notes

  • For a fizzy version, substitute some of the water with club soda.
  • Adjust the ratio of lemon juice to sugar based on your taste preference.
