- 4 ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, and chopped
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the chopped peaches and half of the sugar. Blend until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the peach puree, remaining sugar, heavy cream, whole milk, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually about 20-25 minutes.
- Once the ice cream reaches a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to a lidded container and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.
