- 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Vanilla ice cream (for serving, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a 9×13 inch baking dish, pour the drained peaches evenly across the bottom.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the peaches.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring to cover as much as possible.
- Sprinkle ground cinnamon and salt on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
Notes
- You can use fresh peaches if they are in season; just slice and use them in place of canned peaches.
- Feel free to add nuts or oats to the cake mix for added texture.
