- 1 pound pound cake, cut into cubes
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 2 cups blueberries
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
- In a trifle dish or individual glasses, layer half of the pound cake cubes at the bottom.
- Add a layer of whipped cream over the cake, followed by a layer of strawberries and blueberries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining pound cake, whipped cream, strawberries, and blueberries, finishing with whipped cream on top.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
