  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 packet (1.75 oz) fruit pectin

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine mulberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Stir well and let sit for 30 minutes to macerate.
  2. After 30 minutes, place the pot over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring frequently.
  3. Once boiling, stir in the fruit pectin and continue to boil for another 1-2 minutes, until the mixture thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to sterilized jars.
  5. Seal jars and let them cool completely at room temperature. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks or process in a water bath for long-term storage.
