A refreshing and zesty mint lemonade perfect for cooling down on a hot day.
Ingredients

- 1 cup Fresh mint leaves
- 1 cup Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 4 cups Water
- as needed Ice cubes
- for garnish Lemon slices
- for garnish Mint sprigs
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved to make a simple syrup. Remove from heat and let cool.
- In a blender, combine the fresh mint leaves with 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mint mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove leaves.
- Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, cooled simple syrup, and remaining 3 cups of water to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or lemon juice if desired.
- Serve over ice cubes and garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs.
