- 2 teaspoons Granulated Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Water
- 2 ounces Bourbon
- to fill the glass Crushed Ice
- for garnish Mint Sprig
Instructions
- In a glass, muddle the fresh mint leaves with the sugar and water to release the mint oils.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice.
- Pour the bourbon over the ice.
- Stir gently to combine.
- Top with additional crushed ice and garnish with a sprig of mint.
Notes
- For an extra minty flavor, let the mint leaves sit in the sugar and water for a few minutes before adding the ice and bourbon.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your taste.
