  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

These BBQ ribs are perfect for your Memorial Day weekend gathering. Tender, juicy, and coated with a smoky, sweet barbecue sauce, they are sure to be a hit at any outdoor celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks of pork ribs
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
  • 2 cups barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, combine paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper to create a dry rub.
  3. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels and rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs.
  4. Place the ribs on the grill bone-side down. Cover and cook for about 2 hours, turning occasionally, until the ribs are tender.
  5. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with barbecue sauce, turning every 10 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  6. Once cooked through, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For a smoky flavor, consider using a smoker or adding wood chips to your grill.
  • Feel free to customize the barbecue sauce to your liking; you can use store-bought or homemade.
  • Serve with classic sides like coleslaw and baked beans for a true Memorial Day feast.
