  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

These tender, flavorful BBQ ribs are perfect for your Memorial Day celebration. Cooked low and slow, they are sure to impress your guests!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and black pepper to create a rub.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, ensuring an even coating.
  5. Place the ribs on the grill or in a baking dish if using the oven. Cover with foil to keep moisture in.
  6. Cook for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the ribs are tender and the meat pulls away from the bone.
  7. Remove the foil and brush BBQ sauce over the ribs. Grill for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  8. Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the ribs in the spice rub overnight.
  • Feel free to use your favorite BBQ sauce or make your own from scratch.
  • These ribs can also be cooked in a slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours for an easy alternative.
