- 4 lbs pork shoulder
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 12 slider buns
- Coleslaw (for topping)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Rub this spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.
- Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker and add the chicken broth. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily shred with a fork.
- Once cooked, remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred with two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and mix in the BBQ sauce. Let it warm through for about 15 minutes.
- To serve, place a generous amount of the BBQ pulled pork on each slider bun. Top with coleslaw if desired.
