- 4 pounds of chicken thighs or drumsticks
- 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken and toss to coat.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Brush the chicken with BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of grilling.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve with classic sides like coleslaw and corn on the cob.

- Feel free to use a mixture of chicken parts for variety.
- You can also bake the chicken in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 25-30 minutes if grilling isn’t an option.
