Description
A classic New England sandwich filled with tender lobster meat, mayonnaise, and seasonings, served in a buttered and toasted roll.

- 1 1/2 pounds cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 New England-style hot dog rolls
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Leafy lettuce for serving
- Chopped chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Brush the outsides of the hot dog rolls with melted butter.
- Place the rolls in the skillet and toast until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the rolls from the skillet and fill each with a generous portion of the lobster mixture.
- Top with leafy lettuce and garnish with chopped chives if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious lobster rolls!
Notes
- For an extra kick, add diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the lobster mixture.
- You can substitute the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
