Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 New England-style hot dog buns
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Lettuce leaves for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, dill, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well combined.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add butter to the skillet and let it melt.
- Split the hot dog buns down the middle, but not all the way through. Place them in the skillet, cut side down, and toast until golden brown.
- Remove the buns from the skillet and fill each bun with the lobster mixture.
- Serve the lobster rolls on a bed of lettuce leaves and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add diced celery or a dash of Old Bay seasoning to the lobster mixture.
- Make sure to use fresh lobster meat for the best flavor.
- You can also serve the lobster roll with a squeeze of lemon on top.
