Description
A refreshing and aromatic lavender lemonade perfect for warm days.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 cups Water
- 2 tablespoons Dried culinary lavender
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 cup Fresh lemon juice
- 4 cups Cold water
- for garnish Lemon slices
- for garnish Lavender sprigs
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
- Add dried lavender and sugar to the boiling water. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and let steep for 15-20 minutes.
- Strain the lavender syrup into a pitcher and discard the lavender flowers.
- Add fresh lemon juice and 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher. Stir well.
- Taste and adjust sweetness with additional sugar if desired.
- Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and lavender sprigs.
Notes
- For a stronger lavender flavor, let the syrup steep longer.
- You can substitute honey for sugar for a different flavor profile.
