Lavender Lemonade: 5 Refreshing Sips for Hot Days

A refreshing and aromatic lavender lemonade perfect for warm days.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons Dried culinary lavender
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 4 cups Cold water
  • for garnish Lemon slices
  • for garnish Lavender sprigs

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Add dried lavender and sugar to the boiling water. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and let steep for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Strain the lavender syrup into a pitcher and discard the lavender flowers.
  5. Add fresh lemon juice and 4 cups of cold water to the pitcher. Stir well.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness with additional sugar if desired.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and lavender sprigs.

Notes

  • For a stronger lavender flavor, let the syrup steep longer.
  • You can substitute honey for sugar for a different flavor profile.
