Description

A refreshing and aromatic twist on classic lemonade, infused with fragrant lavender and fresh mint.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, sugar, and dried lavender. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let steep for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Strain the lavender syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the lavender buds.
  3. Add the fresh lemon juice, remaining 3 cups of cold water, and fresh mint leaves to the pitcher. Stir well to combine.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more sugar or water.
  5. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices.
