  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to form fries.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. While the fries are baking, prepare the dip by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard in a bowl.
  7. Serve the crispy fries hot with the dip on the side and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes before baking, then pat dry.
