A classic Key Lime Pie with a creamy, tangy filling in a buttery graham cracker crust, topped with whipped cream.

- 1 1/2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (14 oz) Sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup Key lime juice
- 3 large Egg yolks
- for topping Whipped cream
- for garnish Lime zest
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
- Bake the crust for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and egg yolks until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust and spread evenly.
- Bake the pie for an additional 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 3 hours, or until set.
- Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with lime zest.
Notes
- For a more intense lime flavor, use fresh key limes if available.
- Make sure to fully cool the pie before refrigerating to ensure the filling sets properly.
