- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish, optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the thawed hash browns, half of the cheese, and the cooked sausage or bacon (if using).
- Spread the hash brown mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Pour the egg mixture over the hash browns, ensuring even coverage.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired.
