Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a small cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cool, cut the cake into smaller portions to fit into the bento box.
- Frost each piece with your choice of frosting and decorate with fresh fruits and edible flowers.
