Description

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Bread (Any type of bread will work, but sourdough or white bread is recommended.)
  • 2 slices Cheese (Cheddar, American, or your favorite melting cheese.)
  • 1 tablespoon Butter (Softened, for spreading on the bread.)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  4. Layer the cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
  6. Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.
  8. Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve warm.
