Description
A classic grilled cheese sandwich that is perfectly golden and crispy on the outside and melty on the inside.
Ingredients

- 2 slices Bread (Any type of bread will work, but sourdough or white bread is recommended.)
- 2 slices Cheese (Cheddar, American, or your favorite melting cheese.)
- 1 tablespoon Butter (Softened, for spreading on the bread.)
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
- Layer the cheese on top of the bread in the skillet.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter side up.
- Cook until the bottom slice is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until golden brown and the cheese is melted, about another 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from the skillet, slice, and serve warm.
