Description
Juicy and flavorful grilled burgers that are perfect for summer barbecues.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend recommended)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion for toppings
- Cheese slices (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing up while cooking.
- Place the patties on the preheated grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes for medium doneness. Add cheese slices during the last minute of cooking, if desired.
- Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and topping with lettuce, tomato, onion, and any other desired toppings.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your grilled burgers!
Notes
- For best flavor, use a meat thermometer to check for doneness: 160°F for medium.
- Feel free to customize your burgers with your favorite spices and toppings.
