- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (90g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium heat, about 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar until well blended.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the brownie batter into a greased and lined 9×9 inch baking pan.
- Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil.
- Place the covered pan on the grill and cook for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Remove the pan from the grill and let the brownies cool for a few minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a more intense chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
- You can add nuts or other mix-ins to the brownie batter if desired.
