  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • for filling fresh fruit or jam
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Unroll the croissant dough and separate the triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Add fresh fruit or jam if desired.
  5. Roll the croissants from the wide end to the point, making sure to seal the edges.
  6. Place the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each croissant for a golden finish.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and enjoy!
