- 1 package croissant dough
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- for filling fresh fruit or jam
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Unroll the croissant dough and separate the triangles.
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Add fresh fruit or jam if desired.
- Roll the croissants from the wide end to the point, making sure to seal the edges.
- Place the rolled croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each croissant for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and enjoy!
