Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and then mix in the milk and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or pot over medium-high heat until it reaches 375°F (190°C).
- Using a funnel or a squeeze bottle, carefully drizzle the batter into the hot oil in a spiral or crisscross pattern.
- Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
