- 4 cups fresh mulberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup old-fashioned oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine fresh mulberries, granulated sugar, flour, and cinnamon. Gently toss to coat the mulberries evenly.
- Transfer the mulberry mixture into a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix oats, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt until combined.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the mulberries in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the mulberries are bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat.
- Feel free to mix in other berries for a mixed berry crisp!
