- 1 pound white fish fillets (like cod or tilapia)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- For the sauce: 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 tablespoon lime juice, 1 teaspoon hot sauce
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture over both sides of the fish fillets.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the fish and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flaky.
- While the fish is cooking, prepare the sauce by mixing sour cream, lime juice, and hot sauce in a bowl. Set aside.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave.
- To assemble the tacos, place a piece of fish on each tortilla, top with shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, and cilantro.
- Drizzle the lime sauce over the top and add avocado slices.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side.
