- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup pico de gallo
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flour, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry fish until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Warm tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
- Assemble tacos by placing a piece of fried fish in each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, and cilantro.
- In a small bowl, mix sour cream, lime juice, and hot sauce if using. Drizzle over the tacos.
- Serve with lime wedges on the side.
Notes
- Feel free to add your favorite toppings like avocado or jalapeños.
- For a healthier option, try baking the fish instead of frying.
