These crispy roasted Brussels sprouts are golden, tender, and totally addictive. Perfectly seasoned and roasted to perfection, they make a fantastic side dish for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well coated.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet, cut side down.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
  5. If using, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese during the last 5 minutes of roasting.
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic vinegar if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, try broiling the Brussels sprouts for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
  • Feel free to add your favorite seasonings or spices for additional flavor.
