Delicious homemade crab cakes that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, packed with fresh crab meat and flavorful seasonings.

- 1 pound fresh crab meat
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, beaten egg, Old Bay seasoning, green onions, salt, and pepper.
- Gently mix until all ingredients are well combined, being careful not to break up the crab meat too much.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the crab cakes in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
