- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 1 cup guacamole
- 1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
- Drain excess fat and stir in taco seasoning with a splash of water. Cook for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
- On a large serving platter, spread tortilla chips in an even layer.
- Top chips with seasoned beef, black beans, and salsa.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Remove from oven and dollop sour cream and guacamole on top.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add more toppings like jalapeños, diced tomatoes, or olives.
- This can be made vegetarian by substituting ground beef with sautéed vegetables or lentils.
- For a spicier kick, use spicy salsa or add diced jalapeños.
