Ingredients

  • 4 chicken legs (drumsticks)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
  3. Add the chicken legs to the bowl and toss until well coated with the seasoning mixture.
  4. Place the chicken legs in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crispy.
  6. Check the internal temperature of the chicken, which should reach at least 165°F (74°C).
  7. Remove from the air fryer and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispy skin, pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels before seasoning.
