Description

These easy and delicious Caprese Skewers are perfect for a summer appetizer or party. Fresh mozzarella, basil, and cherry tomatoes come together for a burst of flavor in every bite.


Ingredients

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella balls, bocconcini or ciliegine
  • 1 bunch fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Skewers or toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cherry tomatoes and basil leaves under cold water and pat dry.
  2. On each skewer, thread a cherry tomato, a basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball. Repeat until the skewer is filled, leaving space at the ends for handling.
  3. Drizzle the assembled skewers with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • You can also add a slice of prosciutto or salami for an extra flavor boost.
  • Feel free to use larger mozzarella balls and cut them in half if you prefer.
