Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup diced strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped nuts (optional)
  • Pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine rolled oats and almond milk. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until oats are cooked and creamy.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup and a pinch of cinnamon.
  4. Transfer the oatmeal to a bowl and top with sliced banana, blueberries, strawberries, chia seeds, and almond butter.
  5. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top if desired. Enjoy your healthy breakfast bowl!
