Description
A delicious and classic BLT sandwich made with crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and mayonnaise, all sandwiched between toasted bread.

- 8 slices of crispy bacon
- 4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
- 2 large tomatoes, sliced
- 4 leaves of romaine lettuce or iceberg lettuce
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain.
- While the bacon is cooking, toast the slices of bread to your desired level of crispiness.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise onto one side of each slice of toasted bread.
- On two of the slices, layer the lettuce leaves, followed by the tomato slices. Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the crispy bacon evenly over the tomatoes.
- Top with the other slices of bread, mayonnaise side down.
- Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
Notes
- Feel free to add avocado or cheese for extra flavor.
- For a healthier option, use turkey bacon or a low-calorie mayonnaise.
