Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease mini cake pans.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared mini cake pans, filling each about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, frost each mini cake with buttercream frosting and decorate with edible flowers or sprinkles.
