  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Juicy BBQ burgers grilled to perfection with a smoky flavor and topped with your favorite condiments.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (80% lean)
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce leaves, for serving
  • Tomato slices, for serving
  • Cheese slices (optional), for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 3/4 inch thick.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grill grates.
  4. Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  5. If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty in the last minute of cooking to melt.
  6. Remove patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing the patty on a bun and topping with lettuce, tomato, and additional BBQ sauce if desired.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the patties in BBQ sauce for an hour before grilling.
  • Feel free to customize the toppings with pickles, onions, or your favorite burger sauces.
