Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for serving)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese for toppings
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, BBQ sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, add cheese on top of each patty if desired and close the grill lid to melt.
- Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on a bun and adding your favorite toppings and additional BBQ sauce.
