  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 cheese slices
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1 sliced tomatoes
  • to taste sliced pickles

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, BBQ sauce, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the patties for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  6. In the last minute of grilling, top each patty with a slice of cheese and close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
  7. Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun and topping with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and additional BBQ sauce if desired.
