BBQ Baby Back Ribs: 5 Secrets to Mouthwatering Perfection

  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Tender, juicy baby back ribs coated in a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce, perfect for summer grilling or any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your choice)
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat (around 300°F).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor and tenderness.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Rub the spice mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.
  5. Place the ribs on the grill bone-side down. Close the lid and cook for about 2 hours, turning occasionally.
  6. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce, allowing it to caramelize.
  7. Once cooked, remove from the grill and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve with extra BBQ sauce and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For more flavor, marinate the ribs in the spice mix overnight in the refrigerator.
  • If you prefer, you can also cook the ribs in the oven at 300°F for 2.5 to 3 hours before finishing on the grill.
  • Feel free to use your favorite BBQ sauce or make your own!
