Ingredients
Scale
- 4 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup dark rum
- 1/4 cup banana liqueur
- Vanilla ice cream for serving
- Chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the brown sugar and cinnamon, and stir until the mixture is smooth and bubbly.
- Add the sliced bananas to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing them to soften slightly.
- Carefully add the dark rum and banana liqueur to the skillet.
