- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices of bacon
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Onion slices
- Pickles
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Ketchup and mustard for serving
Instructions
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In a bowl, season ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide into 4 equal portions and form into patties.
- Cook the beef patties on the grill or skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
- Lightly toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in the skillet.
- Assemble the burgers: place a patty on each bun, top with bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.
- Serve with ketchup and mustard.
