Tender and juicy baby back ribs coated in a flavorful rub and finished with a sticky barbecue sauce.

- 2 racks baby back ribs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the olive oil over the ribs, then apply the spice mixture evenly on both sides of the ribs.
- Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone side down. Cover tightly with another sheet of foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the ribs are tender.
- Remove the ribs from the oven and brush with barbecue sauce.
- Preheat a grill or broiler. Grill the ribs for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.
- Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the ribs in the spice rub overnight.
- You can use your favorite store-bought barbecue sauce or make your own.
