  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

Tender and juicy baby back ribs coated in a flavorful rub and finished with a sticky barbecue sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Rub the olive oil over the ribs, then apply the spice mixture evenly on both sides of the ribs.
  5. Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone side down. Cover tightly with another sheet of foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the ribs are tender.
  7. Remove the ribs from the oven and brush with barbecue sauce.
  8. Preheat a grill or broiler. Grill the ribs for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized and sticky.
  9. Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the ribs in the spice rub overnight.
  • You can use your favorite store-bought barbecue sauce or make your own.
